Fakistra is the second beach that you should definitely visit if you find yourself in Tsagarada. The imposing cliffs and the beach with its turquoise waters will delight you. In fact, according to the British Guardian newspaper, it is ranked seventh for the most spectacular beaches in the world. To get there, all you have to do is walk for about ten minutes along a path and you will be confronted with this wildly beautiful, natural landscape. Descending close to the beach you will discover an incredible chapel in the rock, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which the locals call the "hidden school". If you get there, don't set off unorganized. You should definitely bring water and your umbrella, as the natural shade of the rocks is not enough for everyone.
