The square of Agioi Taxiarches is one of the busiest places in the village and is naturally located in the centre of the homonymous district. There are two things that make this square special, the Holy Church of the Holy Archangels and the impressive fountain that stands in front of it. The former was completed in 1746 and stands out for its Venetian-style iconostasis, while inside there is an icon of the Virgin Mary, which has been carved and signed by over 200 local residents! The fountain now stands out for its four fountains, one on each side, which makes it one of the most beautiful in Pelion.
